ABP support for Apprenticeships

The Association of Business Practitioners (ABP) is a not-for-profit UK awarding organisation which develops and accredits business related, professional qualifications, from short courses to postgraduate diplomas, delivered through accredited colleges.  We at ABP support young people’s careers and fully back the apprenticeship scheme which has enabled us to help develop an apprentice’s career.

The apprentice Raheem Charles has been working with ABP since the 31st of October.  He has quickly settled in and contributed significantly to the running of the company. ABP is delighted to have Raheem as part of the team and will continue to invest in his development.

Raheem says ‘My apprenticeship process began at South London Business (SLB).  After a month I had an interview with ABP were I was made to feel part of the team straight away. To help me further progress and gain a full experience of the work environment the staff have given me a variety of tasks to do which has helped me gain a greater  insight into the opportunities for my business career. These have ranged from developing social media campaigns utilising Facebook and ABP’s blog, research for publicising our new Islamic Finance Qualifications, researching international business development opportunities, database management, customer relationship marketing and budgeting.’

If you’re a training centre, college or student and want to find out how ABP can help your career please visit http://www.abp.org.uk/
